Why Us?

Are you transporting your car for the first time? Reading a lot about different companies and want to know why use our services? Here is a brief of what makes us special when it comes to car transportation.

We transport cars anywhere in the U.S

Border to border, coast to coast, AutoTransportDepot (ATD) transports cars anywhere in the United States. Popular routes and transport regions include New England and the Northeast, New York, Atlantic region, Midwest and Plains, Illinois, South and Southwest, Texas, California, Los Angeles Basin, San Francisco Bay area, West Coast, Northwest, and Rocky Mountains. Common routes generally mean faster, cheaper shipping, but our partners aren't afraid to go off the beaten path. We'll transport your car anywhere you need it to go.

We Transport Cars from Door to Door

ATD is here to make your car shipping experience as pleasant as possible, and part of that commitment is making the transportation process convenient. What's more convenient than having the transport carrier pick your vehicle up right from your driveway and drop it off right at its destination? Our door-to-door car transportation services provide just this convenience. If for some reason the exact locations can't be reached (traffic patterns, narrow streets, or other complications), we'll find the nearest suitable destination to ensure that your car transportation experience is as simple as possible.

We Have Open and Closed Carriers

Car Transport generally occurs on an open truck, similar to those used to transport cars from factories to dealerships. These carriers are open at the top and sides, exposing your vehicle to the elements and road debris. Protective covers can be used to shield individual cars. Open transport is cheaper than its closed counterpart and is suitable for most vehicle types.

Closed transport may be called for when the car is especially valuable, such as in the case of show cars and classics. Enclosed car carriers look more like tractor trailers, with four solid sides to completely shield their contents from weather and road debris. Some even allow for temperature control during transport. This type of transport is more expensive but may be worthwhile if the car is especially valuable.

All of Our Carriers Are Insured

All our carriers have both liability and cargo insurance. Liability insurance protects your car in the event that it is damaged due to human error or an accident. Cargo insurance covers any damage, such as dents and scratches that may occur as the result of transportation. Of course, in most cases, vehicles experience no damage whatsoever, arriving at their destination in the same condition they left.

All of Our Carriers Are Licensed & Bonded

We partner exclusively with licensed and bonded car shippers, as required by the Department of Transportation (DOT). All services are provided according to the guidelines and requirements of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), a subset of the DOT.

Last but not the least, we hold ourselves and our partners to the highest standards possible—yours. We don't settle for meeting the basic requirements set by the FMCSA and DOT. We strive every day to exceed those expectations and provide the best service in the industry, period.
